Artist's Biography
Having never had any formal art education, my work is free from the influences that such training can bring. Instead I trust in my instinct and draw directly from the world around me and my interactions with it.
Seemingly everyday items are often the beginning of a project, where the inherant beauty of the object is investigated and developed.
Sometimes man-made designs are combined with other objects, perhaps from the natural world, resulting in new forms which challenge the viewer to look at these elements in a different light.
Sometimes humour is the best way to deliver a serious message.
